About Us

We are a friendly local orchestra based in Newtownabbey. Our players are from all walks of life – some professional musicians, some music teachers and some for whom music is a hobby. We welcome all players over the age of 18.

We rehearse from September to June and perform two or three concerts a year, often collaborating with other local groups eg choirs and chamber groups.

Our Repertoire

We like to play a wide range of music including classical music, film and TV music and arrangements of contemporary songs.
